Ginsheim small webThough it is one of the smaller properties in the VGP portfolio and has a total area of just 65,000 m², the property at Ginsheim-Gustavsburg is nonetheless an excellent new location. The direct connection to highway BAB 60 and 671 and close proximity to the international Rhein-Main airport ensures optimum accessibility to the area. VGP plans to develop a new logistics centre comprising a total area of about 32,000 m² at the site.

The development property „Ginsheimer Str. 10 / Lange Streng 1“ lies east of the German city of Mainz. It is located only 15 minutes by car from the airport and a 15-minute walk from the train station Mainz-Gustavsburg, which offers connections to Frankfurt, Mainz and Wiesbaden.

Rodgau 012016 003 smallProviding space to nine different tenants, VGP Park Rodgau will be fully leased out by July 2016. Once Asendia, Eltete, Geis and A&O move in, the site’s five industrial and production halls, which have a total area of 102,000 m², will be completely occupied. The companies will become new neighbours of the existing tenants Rossmann, PTG, Ebara, Rhenus Pharma and Rhenus Kontraktlogistik.

It is expected that by the end of 2016 approximately 900 people will be employed in the park. The park's connection to the B45 highway provides tenants with a strategic advantage. VGP’s construction of the logistics property was the largest development project seen in the Rodgau region within the last 10 years.

VGP Park Hamburg warehouse smallThe project developer VGP, which operates across Europe, is investing more than 20 million euro in the city of Soltau in the German state of Lower Saxony to build a new logistics centre for Volkswagen's subsidiary Audi.  The entire building project, including the official handover of the site to the tenant, is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2016. The 12-hectare site is located within the Soltau-Ost III industrial park Soltau-Ost III, in direct proximity to the A7 highway.

Expansion works should start in March 2016. The planned facility will comprise a 45,000 m² industrial hall and 1,700 m² of office space, which will give Audi room for a logistics centre specialising in the export of vehicle components and assemblies. Exports will be directed mainly to China, India, Brazil and Mexico. The new complex will bring approximately 300 - 400 jobs to the region. Volkswagen had previously chosen to work with VGP in 2014. The company is a tenant of VGP Park Hamburg and leases an area of approximately 5,000 m² which is used as warehouse and office space. In Hamburg, Volkswagen works with vehicle parts delivered from Asia.
